Welcome to this second edition of the Career Newsletter! As the end of the year is approaching, GEWIS will only have two more lunch lecture until the end of this year! Mathematics Competition
*Are you eager to do some challenging Mathematics and compete against your fellow students?* Then form a team of three with your friends and register to the Online GEWIS Math competition on Saturday December 12, suitable to all years of Bachelor and Master students! Join this fun experience and discover new ways to put what you know to use in a different environment than your exams, with many creative problems. Experience how Mathematics can be competitive and how it feels to work together as a group to solve as many problems as possible in a race against time! SkillsLab: Writing Your MSc Thesis Literature Review

Similar to a forest with its many trees, the internet is overloaded with papers, reports, and articles that are related to your topic. But . . . how do you determine which ones all relevant to your thesis question? How far do you have to set your boundaries for your topic? How do you logically structure and combine all the information in your literature review to make it understandable for others? Capgemini Virtual Experience [Dutch]
*Ben jij een Young Professional? Kom naar de virtuele XperienceDay op 10 december en ervaar de Capgemini-sfeer!* De functie, arbeidsvoorwaarden en doorgroeimogelijkheden zijn belangrijke aspecten bij de keuze voor een baan. Maar nóg belangrijker is het gevoel dat je bij een organisatie hebt. Daarom organiseren wij de Virtuele Capgemini XperienceDay. Tijdens deze dag ontdek je Capgemini als bedrijf en maak je kennis met misschien wel jouw toekomstige collega’s. Hoe de Xperienceday eruitziet? We starten om 13:00 met een korte kennismaking en presentatie over Capgemini. Daarna ga je om 13:45 in groepjes aan de slag met een uitdagende opdracht.
