This talk is about the interview process at Google, and how to prepare for it. The host is Sander Alewijnse, who started his job as software engineer at Google London 7 years ago after graduating from the TU Eindhoven and being active at GEWIS. Besides his main job working on various software projects (Android, the Google Play store, Google Fit and Fitbit) he has led plenty of coding interviews and knows all the ins and outs about applying at Google, which this talk will focus on. ASML organizes ‘excursions’ for Applied Mathematics, Computer Science and Data students in their third year and above. Because all on-campus events are canceled, this year we’re hosting online events to introduce ASML to students. If you follow that advice, you’ll likely be writing your introduction and discussion/conclusion sections around the same time, and you might find you feel like you are just writing an overview of your research twice under different headings.
