This includes things like (GEWIS-hosted) images and external videos (YT, Vimeo). Unfortunately, this wish and our new processor are not compatible. I have to think about a good solution because we cannot just re-use the activity creation editor as it does not allow for images or videos to be specified. If you and C4 believe that images/videos are not necessary in the vacancy descriptions also let me know because in that case I can simply change the editor. Right now, I go to the activity creation, format the text in there and then copy the RAW text to the career box.Is it possible to automatically format the current HTML to the new way of working or should C4 and I manually format all these pages? Dear René , I am sorry I forgot to inform Gewis that I was very sick this morning and I couldn't physically come. Is there any way for this to be resolved? I don't understand the reason for this. There are people who registered later than me and they are still joining. I don't think it is fair and I need my future points in order to graduate this year. These privileges will expire on December 2, 2023 at 23:59. I am very confident that this will not go wrong in the future, but to be sure, we have built in a six-month transition period. I expect Jort has already told you a bit about this, but here's the full rundown: - all privileges get an expiration date, however, this is just a safe-guard not something you or C4 should depend upon, - for the next 6 months that expiration date is only 1 month into the future, - so to make sure everyone keeps their privileges I expect a list of all C4 members every month, and - after 6 months the expiration date will be extended to 3 months (I expect this will then be synchronised with the quarters of the association year). If people leave or join C4 in the meantime, you should use the 'ABC+CBC / Permission request' form, available at https://support.gewis.nl/open.php?topicId=71, to let us know about this (SO to Rink for making this possible). Use the subject to let us know whether the company admin permission should be added or removed. Select 'Member account' and provide their membership number. For the permission, only select 'GEWISWEB - Company Admin'. You should not provide any other information. So to summarise; for the next 6 months we expect to receive an overview of who is in C4 every month, after that it will be quarterly. For each individual change, always fill in the form so that the rights can be granted/removed 'immediately'. --- The reason that none of this is automated, either through LDAP or GEWISDB is that there is no guarantee the committee 'data' stays the same. For example, you may decide yet again to change the name of the committee (C4 -> €4 -> C4) or its identifier may change. The ABC-GEWIS Website team has limited staff, which makes it difficult to keep track of those kind of things (the same reason I do not change the permissions myself when I am reading the minutes of a BM), so that is why this is not automated on the website. Furthermore, these permissions allow people to effectively deface the GEWIS website as they can edit pages. So these permissions should be strictly checked and enforced. Yearbook Piece

Dear committees of GEWIS, with the previous Yearbook still fresh in all of our minds, we must already move on to the next edition as well. And as is tradition, we would love to have pieces from every committee that we have in our association for the yearbook! Therefore we ask of all of you to appoint someone in your committee to write a little piece for previous years edition (2022-2023) (So thats board 41). We would like you to write a piece of approximately 250 words in English. The theme of this yearbook is "Into The Depths", and we would love it if you could include this in your piece. For example, you could think of how your committee went into the depths on an activity or a passion you all share. The theme is quite vague, but let that be an opportunity to really write something that represents your committee! In addition to the text, we would also love to have some images for the yearbook. We would like to have a logo and a group picture of your committee, both with a quality of above 300 dpi (and for logos preferably vector images if possible). But ofcourse, if you have any other images you want to include, you can! But please make sure the quality is at least 300 dpi :). If possible, we would like to receive your pieces and images before the 8th of January (So thats until the first day after the Christmas break).
